If your reading this post, hopefully that means that you’ve finished all your holiday errands. Or maybe not, considering I myself still have a couple of to-dos left to check off the list. Leaving a few things to the last minute is part of the fun, isn’t it? We’re living on the edge over here. Overall though, I am happy to say that this Christmas season has been a lot less stressful and hurried than year’s past. Seeing Christmas through a child’s eyes has given me such a wonderful perspective. And while Beckett is only (almost!) one, she’s helping remind me of what’s really important – love. The deep, un-ending, sacrificial love of God (which is the whole point, isn’t it?) and doing our very best to extend some small fraction of that love to others.
I hope all of you have a wonderful Christmas and a New Year! I’m hoping to be fully present with my family and plan to step away from the computer and iPhone for the break. But, until I do, I wanted to leave you with one last Mommy & Me Style shoot for the year. Beckett and I are wearing our holiday sequins, which is a perfect look for New Year’s Eve!
