Today, I am launching part one of our Spring Shoe Guide, starting with the espadrille flat. All espadrilles share their defining jute rope sole, but this season we’re seeing a lot more than the traditional canvas uppers. Leather, lace, calf-hair, studs, and perforations are just some of the ways designers are giving these comfortable slip-ons some extra oomph. Easily paired with denim cutoffs, a sundress, or a cropped pant and v-neck tee, these shoes will be sure to become your everyday casual shoe.
