Last Thursday, I co-hosted a fabulous event at Nordstrom Galleria Dallas. It was a true party complete with great music, makeovers, delicious bites, champagne and an amazing candy bar! I has such a blast hanging out with my co-hosts, Elizabeth from The New Stylebook and Kileen from cute & little. Working with Nordstrom this past month to select my YOUphoria fall look and to host this event was such a treat.
I received a lot of feedback on how many of you loved the look I pulled together, so I figured I’d go ahead and share some favorite fall trends that I considered when selecting it. I pulled together a statement jacket, silky track pants, tough jewelry and pops of oxblood (including a berry lip). You don’t need to wear all these trends together; they can definitely stand alone.
Whether it’s a tribal print, camo or dark florals, a statement jacket is the perfect addition to your fall wardrobe. For the Nordstrom YOUphoria event, I selected this awesome tribal pattern jacket. I absolutely love it! During the event last Thursday, I also spotted this tweed moto jacket from Ella Moss. Gorgeous. Here are my top five picks from Nordstrom:
We all know that oxblood was huge last fall. Well, it’s back again. I am loving it on top, close to my face, paired with a great bold lip. Berry lips are are my favorite beauty trend right now and they look completely polished with a coordinating top. Here are some great options that can stand-alone, or look great under a jacket or blazer:
I swear it’s not just because I’m pregnant, but drawstring track pants are everything for me right now. They’re the perfect balance of extreme comfort and effortless chic. I love my new Joie tuxedo track pants that I wore from the event, but here are some other great options, starting as low as $58! See my picks here:
I seem to be collecting more and more tough jewelry. It’s a great way to bring out some edge without looking too “alternative”. Sunburst designs, aztec prints and geometric shapes look great in simple black and gold designs. Nordstrom carries many of my favorite fashion jewelry designers for this trend, like Vince Camuto, House of Harlow 1960 and Michael Kors. Here are of my favorites:
House of Harlow 1960 Sunburst Necklace, $58 // Vince Camuto Blow Up Pyramid Leather Stud Statement Ring, $48 // Kendra Scott Aurora Fringed Chandelier Earrings, $75 // Vince Camuto Bullet Proof Pendant Necklace, $38 // House of Harlow 1960 Aztec Bangle, $48 // Vince Camuto Basics Cuff, $48
Thanks again to everyone who voted for my lookand came out to the event! I had a great experience collaborating with Nordstrom on the project and appreciate your support!
