The internet is all abuzz with gift guides (I sure hope you’ve checked out to & from) and Christmas shopping sales, but what I’ve been thinking a lot about is what to do with those great presents once they’re already purchased. I certainly do love a good gift wrapping! I am still unsure what theme I want to adorn my packages with, so I decided to create a couple inspiration boards to help me decide. First up is Modern Woodland. I’ve actually done this theme in previous years – kraft paper, faux bois, traditional red twill and burlap ribbon, owl and deer motifs, peppered with a splash of tartan plaid. It reminds me of being trapped in a log cabin in the mountains, making homemade apple cider and playing board games with my family in front of a fire, while wrapped up a large wool blanket. Everything the winter season should represent, right?
