Every week, I come across so many things that are inspiring me or tempting my pocketbook. From beautiful lamps to new designer collections, there are so many things I want to share here on Modern Eve, but they’re not always right for a dedicated blog post. I’ve decided to follow in the footsteps of many of my fellow bloggers and I am going to start sharing my Weekly Top Ten here every Friday. At little of this, a little of that – Just a simple roundup of ten beautiful things that have caught my eye over the last week.
ONE // Lately it seems that if you put a tassel on something, I’ll instantly fall in love. That is no exception with Gold & Gray. I am loving all of Lily’s jewelry, but this gray wood and pastel version has me smitten.
THREE // Target launched their new Spring Threshold collection a couple of weekend ago, but this little brass number was missing. After a few frantic e-mails to the PR team and several visits to my local store, it’s finally available online (backordered, but still). Can’t wait for this little guy to arrive.
FOUR // I’ve never been a big perfume girl. I have a super sensitive nose. But as I’m getting older, I’m more interested. A couple of months ago, Dave & I received a whole fragrance lesson at Sephora from a lovely saleslady. Number one on my list, the new See by Chloé.
FIVE // I just discovered artist Lisa Golightly on Etsy and I almost didn’t want to share her. I’m crazy about her style and price-point. Hoping to add some of her work to my home very soon.
SIX // I just started Bittersweet by Shauna Niequist, but I am most excited about her new book, Bread & Wine (available for pre-order now). On top of that, I’m also really looking forward to hearing her speak at Hope Spoken in 2014, here in Dallas.
SEVEN // Nude + metallic silver shoes is one footwear trend I have to have. These wedges from Rebecca Minkoff are perfection, but I also love these woven sandals from Loeffler Randall. What did I say, can do no wrong.
EIGHT // My best friend had a baby girl last week!!! And I can’t stop looking at sweet infant clothing. Baby Gap may or may not be giving me baby fever.
NINE // I am thrilled about the launch of Rebecca Atwood’s new textile and art collection. This girl is seriously talented. Described as unfussy, yet feminine, no wonder I’m in love. That’s exactly.one-hundred-percent. my style. Check out her new shop and fall in love.
TEN // I’ve never thought much of designer Karen Walker until her Spring 2013 collection. The patterns, the color palette, that bronze metallic fabric – I want it all. But, especially this dotted chambray dress from Anthropologie. I am trying to find a way to justify this.
