Weekly Top Ten

// Weekly Favs by Modern Eve

ONE // Emerald is the color of the year (according to Pantone) and I can’t get enough it in its original gemstone form. These studs from Elizabeth Cole would look great on my ears, don’t you think?

TWO // Ikea, how do you do it? Design awesomely cool products at crazy cheap prices? This rattan accent chair would look so hip in so many places around my house. I need to head up north to check out its comfort level.

THREE // A tulle princess skirt. Need I say more?

FOUR // Whether you’re heading back to school or not, this aztec print backpack would be a great addition to your fall accessory arsenal. And it’s only $30.

FIVE // I’m feeling a little sappy and romantic these days…blame the pregnancy hormones. This quote feels truer than ever. Only problem is, there are very few love stories founded on Truth.

SIX // More beauty experts agree, Shu Uemura’s eyelash curler is the best on the market. Thanks to Lara at the Glossarie, I just discovered that they’re coming our with this new design September 3rd!

SEVEN // This is what procrastination looks like for me – browsing cute baby clothes. Boy or girl? We’re finding out soon! Boy outfit from Zara. Girl dress from Mamas & Papas, and possibly the cutest thing ever!

EIGHT // Lena Corwin’s new book, Made by Hand, is now available for pre-order. Those messy hands alone are inspiring me to get creative.

NINE // I feel like I’m becoming a little biased toward Loeffler Randall’s footwear. I. just. love. everything. I mean, peter pan collars! on booties and d’orsay flats. How could I not?

TEN // In another life, I’d be an artist. But for now, I’ll just admire all the creative abstract art finds I discover on Etsy.

Lovely picks! It looks like you’ve found such great stuff during your pregnancy, that’s so awesome. I am in love with the cups by H&M, that quote is so cute. Then those Zara outfits are adorable!

I just bought that chair a few weeks ago! We put a pair on our patio, bought the standard seat cushions at Ikea {white with piping – nothing fancy}, and then leaned some patterned cushions upright for extra comfort. They’re a great buy!

So good to know! I have not seen them in person yet, but am planning a trip to our local Ikea soon. I bet they look great on your patio!
