Back in November I was lucky to participate in another Style Challenge with The Home Depot. This summer, I styled our patio for a Saturday afternoon brunch with friends and now I’m back sharing my dining room, decked out for the Holidays. This year I kept a traditional Christmas color palette of red and green, but infused some natural elements, including pinecones, red berries and candlelight. My favorite new addition is this chunky tablerunner from Anthropologie. It’s so unique and I’m crazy about the woven metallic fibers. Overall, I am finding myself being inspired more and more by simplicity. It’s easy to overdo it any time of year, but especially at Christmas. Sometimes less is more.
Here I’m sharing some of my favorite photos, taken by the lovely Sara Kerens, but make sure to check out the post on The Home Depot blog, The Apron. You’ll get to see some our good friends, including one of my favorite little girls!
Since the photo shoot, I’ve switched a few things around, adding a little more color and decorating my tree with all of my vintage glass christmas ornaments. I’ve been sharing some my decór on Instagram. Are you following me? Click the links below to see what I’ve done.

Also, I want to wish each of you a very merry Christmas! I’ll be back on Christmas Day to share our Christmas card (click here to see previous years – 2007-2010 & 2011, but until then I’ll be finishing my shopping, wrapping the rest of our gifts and baking some more delicious mini bundt cakes. Oh, and watching Love Actually and The Holiday.
