This new column has been a long time coming. I absolutely love taking an inspiring image, whether from an interior designer or street style, and recreating the look for myself. I do this research for friends and family all the time, but now I am excited to start sharing my finds with you.

I’m starting with a bedroom photographed by Michael Graydon that really speaks to my “if I was single” side (Dave would never let me go for pink pillows). It’s feminine, yet modern, with appropriate splashes of color and lots of natural elements. It’s truly a dream bedroom. Here I’ve pulled finds from some of my favorite retailers like Ikea, Target, Serena & Lily and West Elm. I’m also loving this kilim pillow on Etsy. There are so many on there, if this is a look you’re going for, I highly recommend a search. I also LOVE this coverlet I stumbled upon, but it wasn’t exactly the right mustard/saffron yellow.
