Organic Easter Gifts for ToddlersEaster is just two weeks away and I’ve been thinking a lot about ways reflect on this special holiday. Easter is the most important annual celebration for my faith, yet I find it difficult to reign in my focus this time of year. Even for those who do not believe in God or Jesus, a whole month or more is dedicated to the Christmas season. But if Easter had not happened, Christmas would have no meaning. And while some celebrate the tradition of Lent, I regret that my priorities this time of year are often placed elsewhere – spring cleaning, enjoying the beautiful weather, shopping for swimsuits…

As Beckett grows, I want to help her understand the significance of Easter. For us, this year, that means talking about Jesus and how much He loves us. As she gets older, I love the tradition of using resurrection eggs to help tell the story of Easter and perhaps one year we’ll make a resurrection garden. Every year, we’ll attend Easter morning service at our church and host a family brunch in our home.

But I also enjoy the traditions that are less directly focused on Christ – the annual Easter eggs hunt, photos with live bunnies, decorating eggs and, of course, the Easter basket. Today, I’m sharing some of my favorite Easter basket gift ideas for toddlers, but I would love to know some of your family Easter traditions. Whether it’s something you always put in your child’s basket or creative way you share the story of Christ’s resurrection, I’d love for you to share in the comments!
