ONE // This statement maxi cover up is fun way to do the beach. I love the colors and the print.
TWO // Seriously, why does Land of Nod have such awesome lamps? They’re almost too good for a kid’s room.
THREE // Gemma Redux is without a doubt one of my favorite jewelry brands. I love everything Rachel Dooley designs and this necklace is no exception.
FOUR // Earlier this week I had the pleasure of meeting with some of Jo Malone’s team here in Dallas. They gifted me this limited edition cologne. If you bottled spring, this would be it.
FIVE // We have a couple more week (hopefully) before it’s unbearable to be outside here in Dallas. In the meantime, gathering for outdoor picnics is the perfect social activity. Get delicious picnic recipe ideas from this beautiful cookbook.
SIX // I don’t know if I’d rather be the subject of this photograph or hang it on my wall to stare at everyday. I need some ocean in my life.
SEVEN // If you haven’t heard of the newest handbag designer, Kelly Wynne, head over to her site and check it out. Her branding, fabrics, hardware and designs are pretty much perfection.
EIGHT // This anchor bottle opener is the perfect summer bar cart accessory.
NINE // I’m sorry – a leather cooler! It may be expensive, it may be impractical, but shoot, this thing is cool.
TEN // Dear black banded sandals, I would like you on my feet. Thank you.

Every summer, here in The States, designers appeal to our country pride with designs full of red, white and blue, stars and stripes, and images of the good ‘ole American flag. This year is no exception. I’ve pulled together some my favorite all-american pieces to help you get in the spirit. These items are perfect for Memorial Day and of course the Fourth of July. But don’t delay, come the end of June these items will surely be sold out.

I don’t know about you, but I basically live in white denim during the summer. Temperatures in Dallas make it almost impossible to wear anything else. White skinny jeans are obviously a staple, but what I’m really excited about are my new white boyfriend jeans from Old Navy. They’re so loose and comfortable, which makes them perfect for a day running around town, lounging at home or for a casual night out. My favorite detail? – the slightly distressed knee. Oh, and the $29.50 price tag.
Note: I’m 5’8″ and I ordered the tall size available online. I love where they hit.

See more posts in: Outfits This past weekend, Husband and I went on a little getaway down to Austin. We stayed at the beautiful Travaasa resort up in the heart of the hill country. This place is magically relaxing, yet full of fun and adventure. Travaasa is an experiential resort – think luxurious summer camp for adults. Every day the resort hosts a list of activities such as yoga, archery, cooking classes, horseback riding, hiking and so much more. They also have an award-winning spa and an outdoor heated pool with a beautiful view. All that, along with a campus peppered with hammocks made for a wonderfully rejuvenating weekend.
Nike shorts and Lululemon is the appropriate dress-code for this place, but Friday night I headed into the city to stop by a party hosted by Camille Styles for Mark & Graham. I wore this new dress from a-thread and broke out my white linen blazer for the first time this season. Thankfully we snapped these photos on site at Travaasa at the beginning of the night because it started pouring rain while at the party and I ended up soaked. So much so that we stopped at Target to pick up some sweats before heading to a bar to watch the Spurs playoff game. My Purchase History might regret that, but I had never been so thankful for a hooded sweatshirt that night.
